Paris: Taylen Biggs has nearly 1.5 million followers across TikTok and Instagram, a wardrobe full of designer clothes, 15 fashion weeks under her belt, and she’s 10 years old. Taylen arrived at last week’s Balmain show, making her one of Paris Fashion Week’s hottest tickets. , a gorgeous white jacket and skirt combo by the French label, black boots and a bag by Karl Lagerfeld, and her favorite vintage shades for her frame.

As usual, a cameraman followed her. The man she calls her “bodyguard” also happens to be her father, and he carefully keeps his distance. “I love fashion and I love meeting and interviewing new people and seeing their opinions,” she told AFP before getting down to business on the microphone. Teilen, who lives in Miami, has interviewed countless models, designers, and fellow fashionistas, including DJ Khaled, pop star Kali Uchis, and American football star Patrick Mahomes. She’s practically a red carpet veteran, appearing at everything from the MTV Music Awards to the Super Bowl, and is a regular at Fashion Week in New York and Miami, and all over Milan and Paris the past two weeks. I appeared.

“I really miss my family,” she said. “And I miss Miami. But I also don’t miss the food in Miami. I love the food here.” Influencers are now the fashion industry’s preferred form of media, connecting directly with the public and We’d happily trade swag in exchange for coverage. And age is not an obstacle.

Taylen’s father, Josh Biggs, said he nearly gave up his job as a construction contractor in Miami to work full time as his daughter’s assistant. “I travel with her wherever she goes. I’m her shadow,” he told AFP. When asked if her daughter went into business, he replied: “People look at my daughter through the lens of a camera… but in real life, she’s a child first and foremost.” Tailen got her first modeling job in Colombia when she moved to the United States when she was 13 years old. He was 18 months old when a photo posted on social media by his fashion-loving mother caught the attention of an advertising agency. She currently runs her daughter’s social media accounts and oversees homeschooling Taylen and her two younger brothers. “We take school very seriously. It’s our number one priority,” her father said. They worked all summer long so Teilen could take a long vacation during back-to-back fashion weeks in Milan and Paris in September. Taylen’s father, who says she has little interest in fashion, says he doesn’t need to pressure his daughter to keep going even if she gets bored. “If she’s ready to change and pursue her different career, that’s up to her,” he said. “We’re going to be leaving the fashion world very soon, and I have no qualms about that.” But Teilen seems to be enjoying her job. “I get along really well with everyone,” she said. “I’m really good with kids. I love kids! And I really love adults, and I don’t even get irritated with them.”
