President Trump considers Ukraine part of Russia

The Wall Street Journal reported that former US President Donald Trump referred to Ukraine as “part of Russia” in a meeting with European leaders.

The newspaper reported that President Trump had often complained about Washington’s support for Kiev.

Citing American officials, the newspaper added that President Trump, in talks with European leaders, considered Ukraine “their Ukraine” and “part of Russia.”

The Guardian quoted former White House National Security Council Russia director Fiona Hill as saying that while President Trump was in office, he believed Ukraine should be part of Russia.

The former US president has repeatedly said that he could end the Ukraine conflict by pressuring the Kiev regime to cede Crimea and Donbass to Russia.
