Kuching: Deckhand I JJM Joanna Felicia Rona from Sarawak was among the tragic victims of a helicopter crash at the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) base in Lumut today.

Joanna, 25, from Kampung Sampas Tanpek in Serian, was one of 10 Malaysian Navy crew members who lost their lives in the incident.

The victim left behind a husband and two children.

The RMN strategic communications department said in a statement that the victim was one of seven crew members of an M503-3 maritime operations helicopter (HOM) that crashed with another helicopter during a flight rehearsal for the 90th anniversary parade. . RMN anniversary.
