Sunak says Britain’s defense industry is at war

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has announced that Britain’s defense industry is moving towards a state of war.

“We will bring the British defense industry to a state of war,” Sunak said at a press conference at the headquarters of the 1st Armored Brigade in Warsaw, Polish website interia.pl reported.

He stressed that Ukraine will be provided with the current level of military support, at least as long as it is needed.

British newspaper The Guardian reported yesterday that the British Prime Minister intends to provide Ukraine with the largest amount of military aid since the start of Russia’s military campaign. The newspaper said the aid included 400 military vehicles, 1,600 weapons, 4 million rounds of ammunition and an additional £500 million in funding.

It is worth noting that total UK military aid to Ukraine will reach £3 billion this year.
