Rafa evacuation: “Where are we going now?”

Palestinians have begun leaving parts of eastern Rafah in the Gaza Strip after Israel urged 100,000 people to move toward an expanded “humanitarian zone.”

The evacuations came ahead of an expected attack on the city, where more than 1.4 million people have fled.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it was a “limited area” operation and not a large-scale evacuation of eastern Rafah, adding that evacuees would be directed to the tent cities of Khan Yunis and al-Mawashi. .
