Malaysian Marine Heavy Industries Engineering Expands Clean Energy Business with New Offshore Wind Power Project

Malaysian Marine Heavy Industries Engineering (MHB) has announced the successful acquisition of its second offshore wind farm project.

The project involves the construction of an Offshore Substation (OSS) High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) platform, including both topside and jacket components. The contract, awarded from Petrofac International (UAE) LLC, highlights MHB’s growing influence in the renewable energy sector.

The project, named “Nederwiek 1”, will play a key role in TenneT’s ambitious 2GW program in the Netherlands.
