Next week will be a turning point on the issue of Biden’s participation in the election.

Next week could be a turning point for whether President Joe Biden gets more involved in the campaign, said Sen. Chris Murphy, a Democrat from Connecticut.

“I think he needs to come out next week and show the American people that he’s still the Joe Biden that we know,” Murphy told CNN. “I think next week will be a turning point.”

The senator added that “Biden needs to do more” to reverse the situation that emerged after the President’s unconvincing performance in the pre-election televised debates.

The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on November 5th.

Trump has secured the number of delegates needed to become the Republican presidential nominee, while Biden, seeking a second term, has secured the support of enough Democratic delegates.

Their nominations are expected to be approved at the party’s convention later in the summer.
