Bitwise says that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is open to discussions on cryptocurrency ETFs (exchange-traded funds) as well as Bitcoin and Ethereum as the launch of the Spot ETH ETF approaches.

“We’ve actually had discussions with the SEC about what new products might look like going forward,” Bitwise Chief Compliance Officer Katherine Dowling said in a July 9 interview with Bloomberg. “I think our communications with the SEC about the prospects for these products have actually been very positive.”
