GIGAFACTORY MALAYSIA, a subsidiary of NANOMALAYSIA, enters into strategic partnership with BAIC of China to develop energy storage solutions for EV vehicles in Malaysia

Beijing, China, April 30 (Bernama) — Gigafactory Malaysia Sdn Bhd (GMSB), a subsidiary of NanoMalaysia Berhad (NMB) Group, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with BAIC International Development Co, aimed at developing the electric vehicle (EV) industry in Malaysia and the ASEAN region. The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) YB Tuan Chan Lee Kang and Datuk Tsu. Dr. Mohd Nor Azman bin Hassan, Deputy Director-General (Technology Development) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, at the 18th Beijing International Automobile Exhibition (AutoChina) 2024.
