During his visit to China, the prime minister also expressed his desire to extend visa-free entry to Indian nationals. However, concrete measures regarding this will await a report from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The possibility of visa-free entry is seen as an important opportunity to promote tourism in Malaysia.
