Kuching: About 1,900 guests attended the Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2024 Open House hosted by Chahya Mata Sarawak here yesterday (May 4).

The event brought together staff, partners, stakeholders and media to celebrate, network and strengthen connections.

Group Managing Director Datuk Seri Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Taib emphasized the event’s goal of fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

“This annual tradition aims to build strong bonds with our customers, partners, suppliers and various stakeholders.

“We aim to maintain good relations with the people we work with,” he told reporters at an open house held at Wisma Mahmud, Jalan Sungai, Sarawak here yesterday.

The festival showcased a variety of delicious dishes such as Sate Kajang, Laksa Sarawak, Mee Kolok, Nasi Biryani and local desserts.

During the open house held from 10am to 6pm, Kahiya Mata Sarawak also gave away sponsorship shirts with the company’s logo to three squash players from the Sarawak Squash Racket Association (SRAS). Demonstrated continued sports philanthropy.

These athletes will represent Sarawak at the Southeast Asian Junior Individual Championships to be held in Bangkok from May 8 to 12, and are made up of four boys, one girl and a coach.

Meanwhile, six men and one woman will participate in the Lion City Junior Open, which will be held in Singapore from May 28 to June 2.
