Invest Sarawak and Toyo Engineering Co., Ltd., in collaboration with its subsidiary Toyo Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to highlight their joint efforts to advance the Sarawak government’s energy transition agenda.

This ground-breaking partnership aims to drive Sarawak towards cleaner and more sustainable energy sources, in line with TOYO’s Energy Transition Strategy, outlined in a press release.

The Memorandum of Understanding sets out a framework for cooperation between the two agencies aimed at identifying and promoting potential investment projects essential to the state’s energy transition initiatives.

TOYO has expressed its readiness to support the development of essential value chain planning services to realize these initiatives.

This joint effort will support a variety of energy projects critical to the state’s agenda, including green hydrogen projects, carbon capture and storage (CCS) initiatives, waste-to-energy projects, and energy storage solutions such as battery storage and pumped hydro.
